Burgan Bank has concluded the resumption draws for its flagship Kanz account, crowning more than 250 winners - including Kanz's fourth millionaire - across postponed draws covering the period from March 2025 to April 2026. Conducted over five consecutive days from April 19 to April 23 2026, the draws mark the full return of Kanz and to Burgan making dreams come true. They also reaffirm the Bank's commitment to transparency and customer trust.

The completed draw cycle included all previously postponed monthly draws, alongside the semi-annual draw and the highly anticipated annual grand draw for the year 2025. The Bank also hosted a live broadcast of Marina FM from its headquarters, which covered the announcement of the winner of the grand prize of KD 1,500,000, reflecting the Bank's commitment to enhancing transparency and engagement with the public.

A total of 20 winners each received KD 2,000 in the monthly draws, while one winner received KD 500,000 in the semi-annual draw, and one grand prize winner was awarded KD 1,500,000 in the annual draw. All customers who maintained a minimum balance of KD 200 during the suspension period remained eligible to participate retroactively, ensuring that no qualifying customer lost their chance to win.

The successful completion of the draws represents more than the return of a prize-linked account. It signals the fulfillment of a commitment made to customers at a time when clarity, confidence, and continuity matter most. With every draw conducted under regulatory oversight and the supervision of internal and external auditors, Burgan Bank reinforced the principles that underpin both Kanz and its wider retail banking proposition: fairness, integrity, accountability, and a customer-first approach that honors participation and rewards loyalty.

Commenting on the successful completion of the Kanz resumption draws, Bader Mohammed Ali, General Manager - Retail Banking at Burgan Bank, said: "Today marks an important moment not only for Kanz, but for the trust our customers place in Burgan Bank every day. From the outset, our commitment was clear: every eligible customer would retain every opportunity they had earned, and every postponed draw would be carried out in a transparent, structured, and fair manner. The successful completion of these draws reflects that commitment in action. We are pleased to have delivered on our promise and to have celebrated more than 250winners across this comprehensive draw cycle."

He added: "Kanz has long represented more than the possibility of winning. It represents disciplined saving, long-term aspiration, and the belief that banking products should create meaningful value in customers' lives. That is why this resumption was so important. It was about restoring momentum, rewarding loyalty, and reaffirming the confidence our customers can continue to place in Burgan Bank."

"The response to the return of Kanz has reflected the strength of the relationship Burgan Bank has built with its customers over time. Kanz continues to resonate with customers because it combines saving with tangible rewards. Each draw represents an opportunity, and each winner reflects the value of consistent saving."

On this occasion, Danah Faisal Al-Jasem, General Manager - Corporate Communications at Burgan Bank, stated: "We congratulate the fourth millionaire who won the annual grand prize of the Kanz draws, and we wish him continued success in pursuing his goals and fulfilling his aspirations. We also extend our sincerest congratulations to the winner of the semi-annual prize of KD 500,000, as well as to all winners of the monthly draws, and wish the best of luck to the rest of our customers in the upcoming draws. At the bank, we advise winners to invest their prizes wisely to ensure sustainable financial stability and growth, noting that Burgan Bank's team stands ready to provide financial guidance and advice that supports them over the long term."

Al-Jasem added: "Today, the distance between us and our community has become shorter, and we are committed to solidifying this relationship by delivering distinctive and more engaging banking experiences that meet our customers' needs and turn their dreams into reality. Over the five days of the Kanz draws, we announced more than 250 winners, in addition to offering an interactive experience through daily competitions on both our social media platforms as well as via the livestream on our YouTube channel to engage the community with us in these joyful moments and provide additional chances to win. We also reaffirm our ongoing commitment in delivering innovative experiences that strengthen our customers' trust in us and align with their lifestyles and future aspirations."
