Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah has achieved a new milestone on the global healthcare map after being included for the first time in the list of the World's Top 250 Hospitals in the 2026 ranking published by Newsweek.
The hospital is the first private hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attain this distinction, underscoring its leadership position and the high quality of its integrated medical services delivered in accordance with the highest international standards.
The hospital also continued its national leadership by ranking, for the fifth consecutive year, as the Best Private Hospital in Saudi Arabia, and securing second place among all public and private hospitals across the Kingdom. This achievement reflects sustained excellence in performance and the continued trust of patients and the community in the level of care provided.
The World's Top 250 Hospitals list included only three hospitals from Saudi Arabia. Among them, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital ranked second nationally within the global classification and was the highest-ranked private Saudi hospital on the list, further reinforcing its advanced standing and competitiveness at both regional and international levels.
The Newsweek World's Best Hospitals ranking is based on a comprehensive evaluation methodology built on four key pillars: healthcare quality, patient safety, recommendations from medical experts worldwide, and patient experience survey results. It also incorporates the level of implementation of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), which assess the impact of healthcare services on patients' quality of life and clinical outcomes.
The selection of the global top 250 hospitals is further determined by the strength of international peer recommendations, excellence in quality and patient experience indicators, as well as research reputation and scientific contribution. Inclusion in this list represents a direct reflection of institutional and clinical excellence on a global scale.
Commenting on the achievement, Dr. Mazen bin Soliman Fakeeh, President of Fakeeh Care Group, stated: "Joining the World's Top 250 Hospitals marks a pivotal milestone in our journey and reflects the outcome of integrated institutional work and continuous investment in medical expertise and advanced technologies. We have consistently placed patient safety and quality of care at the core of our priorities, and this international recognition confirms that we are moving in the right direction."
He added: "This global recognition strengthens the presence of the Saudi healthcare sector on the international stage and supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in building an advanced healthcare system centered on quality, innovation, and sustainability-ultimately contributing to improving quality of life for the community."
Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital continues to reinforce a culture of institutional excellence by advancing integrated, patient-centered medical services and adopting modern models of care aligned with international best practices, contributing to superior clinical outcomes and a safer, more compassionate patient experience for individuals and their families.
