National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has been recognised with Deutsche Bank's Client Excellence Award during Sibos 2025, one of the global financial industry's most prominent gatherings.

The accolade reflects NBB's continued advancement in institutional banking and its strong performance in international transaction services, said the bank.

Presented in acknowledgment of outstanding operational delivery, the award highlights NBB's Straight-through Processing (STP) rate of 99%, placing the Bank among the highest-ranked institutions worldwide. This achievement is the result of the combined efforts of NBB's Operations, FI Coverage, and Transaction Banking teams, who consistently work to strengthen the Bank's processing accuracy and service reliability.

Ali Abdulkarim, Group Chief Executive - Corporate & Commercial Banking, stated: "Receiving this award from Deutsche Bank is a testament to the collective dedication of our teams and the progress we continue to make in enhancing our transaction banking capabilities. Our focus has been on delivering consistent quality and efficiency for our clients, and this milestone reinforces the value of our approach."

The acknowledgment builds on NBB's longstanding relationship with Deutsche Bank and their shared commitment to supporting institutional clients through dependable, technology-enabled service models.

As the bank continues to advance its infrastructure and expand its digital workflow capabilities, this achievement underscores NBB's role in strengthening Bahrain's standing in regional banking and supporting the Kingdom's financial sector development.
