THE National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has launched its Summer Cashback Campaign, offering credit cardholders the opportunity to maximise their international spending during the peak vacation season.
Running until September 15, the initiative provides customers with competitive cashback on overseas expenditure, alongside an exclusive travel voucher raffle through the 'Points by NBB' app.
The campaign offers up to 3.5 per cent cashback on all purchases made abroad. Additionally, credit cardholders linked to Thara'a Prize Accounts can enjoy an increased cashback rate of up to 5pc.
To unlock the rewards, customers must register for the offer via the Points by NBB app before spending.
In addition to cashback, eligible NBB credit cardholders will enter a raffle draw for travel vouchers worth a total of BD3,000, with three winners each receiving vouchers valued at BD1,000.
The draw is open to both primary and supplementary cardholders who spend outside Bahrain during the campaign period.
Cardholders earn one raffle ticket for every BD100 spent internationally.
Customers who link their credit cards with a Thara'a account will receive two raffle tickets on the Points by NBB app upon issuing the card during the campaign.
Customers can also redeem every 500 base or bonus points for an additional raffle ticket.
"Summer is a prime period for international travel and shopping, and our goal is to ensure our clients get the most value from their holiday spending," said NBB chief executive for retail banking Subah Al Zayani.
"Through cashback, exclusive Thara'a benefits, and enhanced travel perks, we transform international spending into a more valuable and memorable experience."
The initiative reinforces NBB's position as a rewards-driven leader in retail banking, focusing on customer convenience, flexible digital solutions, and high-value card propositions.
