Oman's GDP at constant prices grew by 5.1 per cent in the second quarter of 2026, reaching approximately OMR 9.9 billion, compared to approximately OMR 9.4 billion in the same quarter of 2025.
Preliminary data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information showed that oil activities grew by 14.7 per cent in the second quarter of 2026, reaching approximately OMR 3.4 billion, compared to approximately OMR 3 billion in the same quarter of 2025.
Meanwhile, non-oil activities increased by 0.7 per cent during the second quarter of 2026, reaching approximately OMR 7.0 billion, compared to approximately OMR 6.8 billion in the same quarter of 2025.
Data showed that agriculture and fishing activity increased by 2.3 per cent, reaching OMR 325 million , compared to OMR 317.8 million in the second quarter of 2025.
Meanwhile, industrial activity decreased by 1.5 per cent, reaching approximately OMR 1.9 billion , compared to approximately OMR 2.0 billion in the same period of the previous year.
Service activity also increased by 1.5 per cent, reaching approximately OMR 4.6 billion , compared to approximately OMR 4.5 billion in the second quarter of 2025.
