The board of directors of Bahrain Bourse held its third meeting of the year yesterday, chaired by chairman Yusef Al Yusef.
During the meeting, the board reviewed progress on strategic projects, key performance indicators, and the bourse's consolidated financial position. Discussions centred on the ongoing implementation of strategic objectives outlined in the Capital Market Development Plan (2026-2028), 'Elevate'.
The board also conducted a periodic review of internal policies to align with evolving operational needs and institutional best practices, approving several new and updated guidelines to strengthen governance and risk management.
Reaffirming its commitments, the board highlighted plans to support initiatives that drive the development of Bahrain's capital market, enhance organisational efficiency, and solidify the bourse's position as a regional financial hub.
