Aljarida, Kuwait's leading news organization, on October 26, 2026 announced the fifth edition of MoneyTech, Kuwait's leading conference at the intersection of investment, business, and technology. The event will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the St Regis Kuwait, in strategic partnership with Ooredoo Kuwait.

This year's summit turns its attention to the businesses and leaders that have navigated extraordinary disruption, preserved continuity and created new paths to growth. Against a backdrop of shifting markets and global uncertainty, MoneyTech 2026 will bring together more than 17 wealth managers, tech executives, investors and business leaders from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, alongside leaders from global investment firms BlackRock and The Carlyle Group, to discuss how Gulf capital and companies can navigate risk and capture opportunity. The program features eight keynote addresses, fireside chats and panels examining the questions at the top of decision-makers' agendas this year, whether M&A is a survival move or a buyer's opportunity, how investors are adapting to what may be a lasting new regime of uncertainty, and whether it is time for Gulf investors, who have long held a large share of their assets abroad, to bring more of that wealth home.

The summit will open with a keynote from Abdulaziz Yaqoub Al-Babtain, CEO of Ooredoo Kuwait, followed by a keynote from Haitham Al-Terkait, Deputy Group CEO, Technology and Operations at Kuwait Finance House. The agenda also includes fireside chats with Mohammed Al-Othman, CEO of the Consumer and Digital Banking Group at National Bank of Kuwait; Noor Al-Bahar, Managing Director of Talabat; and Bader Al-Attar, Managing Director, Planning & Finance at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, offering perspectives from banking, the digital consumer economy and the energy sector.

Key themes at MoneyTech 2026
Dealmaking in Turbulent Markets: How M&A valuations are being set, what separates a distressed exit from a strategic acquisition, and where consolidation is likely to come next.

Investing Through Uncertainty: Whether today's market uncertainty marks a lasting new regime, and how leading investors are building resilience across public and private portfolios.

Finding Opportunity in Periods of Stress: Identifying underpriced risks and positioning Kuwait as a natural home for long-term capital.

Repatriating Gulf Wealth: Whether it is time to bring more Gulf capital home, what regional markets can offer today, and what must be in place to keep it here.

Leadership perspectives from banking, energy and the digital consumer economy.
