National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) announced the completion of all deferred Al-Jawhara and Al-Jawhara Junior draws, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to rewarding customers and strengthening their trust. The Bank stated that more than 60 deferred draws, with a total value exceeding KD 5 million, were conducted over five business days during the period from April 1 to April 7, 2026. This included the announcement of three winners, each receiving KD 1 million, in the Al-Jawhara grand draws for May 2025, September 2025 and January 2026.

NBK confirmed that customers' chances during the deferral period remained fully preserved, with no impact on their eligibility to win. The Bank noted that it appointed an additional firm, Grant Thornton, to audit and oversee the draw processes - regardless of prize value - alongside its continued engagement with Deloitte to monitor the draws and ensure adherence to the highest standards of transparency and integrity.

It further stated that, as part of enhancing the Al-Jawhara and Al-Jawhara Junior draw mechanism - the largest draw program in Kuwait - any winning customer will be excluded from participating in subsequent draws for a minimum of 90 business days from the date of winning. Additionally, if the value of a single prize or the aggregate prizes won equals or exceeds KD 50,000, the customer will be excluded from all draws for a period of one year from the date of the last win, ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all customers.

Upcoming draws
In line with its ongoing commitment to the highest standards of transparency, NBK confirmed that upcoming Al-Jawhara and Al-Jawhara Junior draws will be announced on the second Tuesday of each month, inviting customers to follow the Bank's official channels for live coverage and the latest updates. On this occasion, Hisham Al-Nusif, Chief, Consumer Banking at NBK, stated: "The completion of all deferred Al-Jawhara and Al-Jawhara Junior draws in accordance with a clear and transparent timeline reflects NBK's full commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities towards customers, and its unwavering dedication to upholding the highest standards of integrity and transparency. We ensured that these draws were conducted with the utmost fairness, safeguarding customers' rights and fully preserving their chances of winning throughout the deferral period."

"Al-Jawhara and Al-Jawhara Junior draws represent a well-established model for fair savings programs, built on the principles of equal opportunity and absolute credibility. This is reinforced through the oversight of independent international auditing firms across all draw processes, underscoring the program's transparency and the continued trust of our customers," Al-Nusif added.

"As we move into a new phase with a consistent and clearly defined draw schedule, NBK remains committed to delivering an exceptional savings experience through Al-Jawhara and Al-Jawhara Junior - the largest program of its kind in Kuwait. Beyond promoting a culture of saving, the program continues to create new millionaires, reinforcing NBK's position as a trusted banking partner that places customers' aspirations and financial future at the heart of its priorities," he concluded.

Al-Jawhara prize draws offer a total annual prize pool of KD 5 million, featuring weekly prizes of KD 20,000, monthly prizes of KD 125,000, and a grand prize of KD 1 million awarded three times annually. As for Al-Jawhara Junior draws, dedicated to customers under the age of 21, monthly draws offer seven cash prizes (KD 1,000 for three winners and KD 500 for four winners), in addition to one winner receiving a KD 10,000 cash prize with every Al-Jawhara grand draw.
