In a step that reflects its ongoing commitment to providing customers with seamless, convenient, and secure banking experience, National Bank of Kuwait continues to enhance its digital banking services with a new suite of updates designed to make everyday banking simpler, faster, and more accessible.
The latest enhancements span several key areas of the Bank's digital offering, including the first fully digital journey for applying for credit cards and sign digitally in a simple and seamless manner, anytime anywhere, without the need to visit the branch. The new service allows customers to apply for credit cards and manage the entire application process, including filling out the form, uploading required documents, undergoing credit checks, viewing eligible card options, and completing the final review and electronic signature all through the app, without the need to visit a branch or submit paper documents.
By digitizing the entire application and issuance process, NBK offers one of the fastest credit card acquisition experiences in Kuwait by streamlining procedures, accelerating application review and approval, as well as ensuring a smoother and more flexible experience for customers.
The launch of this service reflects the Bank's ongoing efforts to strengthen its digital capabilities and deliver innovative banking solutions centered around customers' needs, while meeting their expectations for faster, more flexible, and seamless banking. The latest update also introduces a range of new and enhanced services and features, further reinforcing the Bank's commitment to delivering a seamless digital banking experience that meets customers' evolving needs and provides greater convenience, speed, and flexibility in managing their banking needs.
Multi-beneficiary transfers
NBK introduced the Multi-Beneficiary Transfers feature on the NBK Mobile Banking App, offering a more practical and efficient way to transfer money to several recipients in a single transaction simply by selecting recipients, entering the required amounts, reviewing the total transaction, authenticating, and finally completing the transfer. Customers are able to select up to ten beneficiaries at once, providing greater flexibility by reducing the number of steps required to conduct multiple transfers.
Digital certificates and statement
As part of the new enhancements, NBK expanded its digital certificate services, enabling customers to request a wider range of official certificates and statements digitally, without the need to visit a branch. This way, customers can request their certificates conveniently through NBK's digital channels, with documents that incorporate a QR code and the verified signature, so they can be validated through an in-app QR reader.
Moreover, this service is supported by advanced security measures in line with international standards, which provides customers with greater trust and ease of mind when accessing official banking documents. Additionally, a copy of the requested document is sent to the customer's registered email address, making it easier to retain a copy whenever needed.
Commenting on the launch of this new suite of benefits and enhancements, Mohammad Al-Dakhil, VP - Head of Digital Banking Channels at National Bank of Kuwait, said, "All these enhancements are part and parcel of NBK's broader vision to continuously develop a comprehensive banking system centered around customer needs." "By combining convenience, flexibility, security, and accessibility, NBK maintains its unwavering commitment to simplifying daily banking for customers and providing them with bigger control to manage their finances." He added.
Through its ongoing commitment to investing in its digital infrastructure and innovative banking solutions, NBK continues to reinforce its leadership in digital transformation by giving its customers an experience that meets their evolving expectations, as per the highest standards of service, security, and reliability.
