United Foods Company (UFC), a leading UAE-based food manufacturing and distribution company, reported a strong performance for the second quarter of 2026, reflecting continued growth in business activity, improved operating performance and enhanced profitability across its operations.

The gross revenue climbed to AED279.8 million ($76.19 million) during second quarter, compared with AED153.1 million in Q2 2025, while net revenue increased to AED270.8 million from AED145.0 million.

Profit before tax increased to AED20.5 million, compared with AED5.2 million in the corresponding quarter last year, while net profit rose to AED18.6 million ($5.06 million) from AED4.6 million.

The performance was delivered despite continued geopolitical and macroeconomic uncertainty across the region, including ongoing volatility in commodity prices, supply chains, inflation and logistics.

United Foods Company continued to manage these conditions through diversified sourcing strategies, inventory management, pricing controls and established business continuity and risk management frameworks.

The quarter's performance demonstrates the company's ability to translate strong revenue growth into significantly higher earnings. Revenue expansion was supported by organic volume increase and continued execution of the Company's growth strategy, while profitability benefited from improved operational efficiency and scale. The substantial increase in profit before tax and net profit highlights the strength of the underlying business fundamentals and the company's focus on delivering sustainable value for shareholders.

Based on management's assessment, no material adverse impact was identified on the Group's manufacturing, processing or distribution activities during the reporting period.

Ali Bin Humaid Al Owais, Chairman of United Foods Company, said: "Our second-quarter performance reflects the resilience of United Foods Company and the disciplined approach we continue to take in managing the business through a challenging operating environment. Delivering this level of growth despite continued regional uncertainty demonstrates the strength of our business and the commitment of our people.

"As we celebrate 50 years since the company's establishment, we remain focused on creating long-term value for our shareholders while supporting the UAE's food security ambitions. We will continue to build on our heritage by investing in the capabilities, partnerships and products that will support the company's future growth."

United Foods Company continues to advance the strategic priorities announced earlier this year under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Itani. These include strengthening the Company's research and development capabilities, accelerating product innovation, evaluating organic and inorganic growth opportunities, and assessing options to expand its manufacturing footprint in high-growth regional markets.

Mohamed Itani, Chief Executive Officer of United Foods Company, said: "This quarter demonstrates that disciplined execution and operational focus continue to translate into strong financial performance. By increasing our market share in oils and fats and maintaining our sharp focus on margins, we have delivered significant performance improvement and continued our disciplined approach to growth, cost optimisation and capital allocation, positioning the company well for continued momentum in the remainder of 2026 and beyond."

"We remain focused on delivering operational excellence, reinventing ourselves with our strong brand presence, and enhancing our product offering and responsiveness to customer needs across our diverse markets. While the external environment continues to evolve, our priority is to build a stronger, more agile business capable of delivering sustainable long-term growth," Itani added.

United Foods Company continues to support households, hotels, restaurants, cafés and industrial customers through its diversified portfolio of edible oils, fats, ghee, margarine, butter blends and other food products. The Company remains focused on production efficiency, automation, responsible growth and the continued development of national talent through Emiratization.
