Founded in 1976 by the visionary Emirati entrepreneur Sultan Al Owais, United Foods Company pioneered the establishment of the first edible oils and fats refinery in the GCC. In 1976, UFC launched their first brand, Aseel, which quickly became central to United Foods. Initially, Aseel provided high-quality cooking oil and vegetable ghee, eventually expanding to offer a wide range of fats and oils. Over the years, United Foods introduced several top-tier brands that have become household names: Nawar, Safi, Mumtaz, and Super Sun.
