Zain Kuwait has received two Autonomous Network Levels Assessment Validation Certificates from TM Forum, the connectivity industry's global alliance, recognizing the company's advanced application of AI-powered intelligence across its network.

Zain Kuwait's Network Engineering Director Saleh Al-Asaker received the recognition during the 2026 DTW Ignite conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. The step reflects Zain's growing efforts to make its network smarter, more efficient, and more responsive. This translates into stronger network reliability, faster maintenance, and improved energy efficiency, while continuing to deliver a seamless customer experience across Kuwait's most awarded 5G network.

Zain's network was recognized for achieving AN Level 4.0 in RAN Energy Efficiency Optimization and AN Level 3.9 in RAN Fault Management. The RAN Fault Management score represents the highest recorded AN level globally for this scenario, while the energy efficiency optimization score ranks among the highest validated results worldwide. This milestone reflects Zain's continued progress in building a smarter, more resilient, and more sustainable network, in line with its 4WARD-Progress with Purpose strategy. By embedding AI and automation deeper into network operations, the company is strengthening the foundations of Kuwait's digital ecosystem while enhancing customer experience, operational efficiency, and environmental performance.

The validation follows Zain's large-scale deployment of RAN Agent in partnership with Huawei across its network in Kuwait. Operating 24/7 in real time, the solution supports both maintenance and energy-saving scenarios, from proactive fault prediction and root-cause diagnosis to dynamic, site-level energy optimization.

In fault management, the RAN Agent is integrated into Zain's operations and maintenance workflows to help predict potential network issues, accelerate diagnosis, and guide field teams through natural language interaction and visualized recommendations. This enables faster fault resolution, improves network quality, and reduces the need for prolonged outdoor fieldwork, particularly in Kuwait's challenging summer climate. In energy efficiency optimization, the AI-driven solution enables a more precise approach to network energy management by adapting strategies to the needs of each site and each hour.

Through a "one site, one strategy" model, it dynamically balances energy savings with network experience, supporting round-the-clock optimization while maintaining service quality for customers. The dual validation reinforces Zain's leadership in applying autonomous network technologies at scale, moving AI from controlled pilots into live, nationwide network operations. It also highlights the company's commitment to future-ready infrastructure that can support rising data demand, accelerate digital transformation, and contribute to more sustainable network operations.

As demand for high-performance connectivity, cloud services, AI, and digital applications continues to grow, autonomous networks are becoming a critical enabler of service agility and operational resilience. Zain's recognition by TM Forum further positions Kuwait as a leading market for intelligent network transformation in the region and demonstrates the readiness of AI-native networks for large-scale deployment.

Zain will continue working with global technology partners to advance its network intelligence roadmap, accelerate automation across key operational domains, and deliver smarter, more reliable, and more sustainable digital services to customers, businesses, and communities across Kuwait.
