Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (ACIG) is a Saudi publicly listed company engaged in Islamic non-life and life insurance services. It was incorporated in 2007 with a paid up capital of SR 100 million. Based in Riyadh, it has regional offices in Jeddah, Al-Khobar and Khamis Mushait. The company's mission is to provide Shari'ah compliant insurance and risk management solutions to customers, by applying the highest international standards. They aim to become one of the top insurers in the Saudi market providing security to customers and delivering value to employees and shareholders. The company's products fall into seven insurance segments. Medical insurance covers the costs of medical treatment and provides medical care and facilities. Motor vehicle insurance includes loss or damage to the motor vehicle due to accident, and liability for death or bodily injury to other people. Medical malpractice insurance covers legal liability towards third parties arising out of any error, omission or negligence. General accident includes money, fidelity, personal accident and public liability, among others. Marine insurance includes coverage against risks associated with navigation and transportation to which a cargo may be exposed during transit, whether by sea, air or land. Engineering insurance includes protection against loss or damage to contract works, construction plants, equipment, and/or construction machinery and property.
