Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) is a government-owned utility company that plays a crucial role in providing essential services to the residents of Dubai. Recently, DEWA commissioned a new water reservoir in Enkhali, which is now connected to Dubai's water network. This reservoir has an impressive storage capacity of 120 million imperial gallons (MIG) and cost AED 287.8 million. It reflects DEWA's commitment to state-of-the-art infrastructure for electricity and water. DEWA empowers customers through a unique program that allows them to monitor and compare their electricity and water consumption with efficient homes. The characters Noor and Hayat symbolize conservation among younger generations. Building on Dubai's Economic Agenda D33, DEWA aims to propel economic growth and solidify Dubai's global position. DEWA is the first local government entity to launch its DEWAverse platform using Metaverse technology.
