The National Detergent Company SAOG (NDC), founded by Mr. Abdul Hussain Bin Bhacker Al Lawati in 1981, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of home and personal care products in Oman. NDC produces and distributes a broad range of renowned brands, including detergent powders, liquid detergents, soaps, shampoos, and other household cleaners. The company also has a Sulphonation division that manufactures and sells LABSA, and an I&I division serving the Oil & Gas and Construction industries.

NDC, supported by major promoters such as The BSJ Group, Omzest Group, and Al Anwar Investments SAOG, operates five manufacturing units located in Sohar, Ghala, and Rusayl Industrial areas. Their philosophy of providing the best value for money has built a strong customer base and brand equity over the years.

NDC is the first ISO-certified soap and detergent company in the region, with its flagship brand, Bahar, being recognized as the "Greatest Brand" and "Most Trusted Brand" in Oman. NDC offers a variety of quality products, such as Bahar Fresh Blossom detergent powder, Bahar Advanced Matic Gel, and Farah luxury soap, to name a few.
