DXB Entertainments is a public joint stock company that was established in 2012. The company belongs to the consumer services sector and has eight subsidiaries operating across UAE. DXB Entertainments is a leisure and entertainment company, which engages in investments in commercial enterprises and management, real estate development, amusement parks, the management of tourist enterprises, sports and recreational events, tickets e-trading, marketing management, facilities management services, and event management. The company is continuously working on expanding its portfolio by adding consumer-focused hospitality services. The company owns Dubai Parks & Resorts which is considered to be the largest integrated theme park in the Middle East. Dubai Parks & Resorts has five theme parks (one under development), two hotels (one under development) and a themed retail and dining destination. The company became listed in the Dubai Financial Market in 2014. It has developed a real estate, entertainment and tourism project, covering approximately 73 attractions in three separate theme parks; Lapita, a global Marriott operated resort hotel, and Riverpark, a retail dining and entertainment district connecting the three theme parks and hotels. Its founders are Meraas Leisure and Entertainment LLC and Meraas Holding LLC.
