Educational Holding Group is a public company based in Kuwait City (Kuwait) and was established in March 1982. EDU is listed on the Boursa Kuwait since May 1993, and is a subsidiary ofBoubyan Petrochemical Company. The company is primarily engaged in Sharia-compliant educational and training services in the Middle East, North Africa, East Asia, and internationally. The firm focuses on the ownership of shares of local or international shareholding and limited liability companies, along with participating in the establishment and management of companies in which it owns shares.It is also involved in owning, renting and exploiting industrial patents, property rights or trademarks, inside or outside Kuwait, and investing its excess funds in portfolios managed by specialized companies. It is also engaged in providing services for developing human capital in fields of training, knowledge acquisition (e-learning), business recruitments, and special needs. Moreover, it offers kindergarten, K-12, tertiary education, and vocational training and development services. It has 13 subsidiaries operating across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. Its subsidiaries include, Afaq Educational Company KSCC, Knowledge & Life Holding SAL and Al Hayat for Development and Financial and Administrative Consultancy Company, among others.
