Marka Company is a public joint stock company which was established on 23rd June 2014. The company is headquartered in Dubai and is considered to be a premier retail operator, engaging in the managing of retail stores dealing in luxury apparel, accessories, sports merchandise, as well as restaurants and cafes. The company has been listed in the Dubai Financial Market since September 2014. Marka has worked with a number of leading global brands, which belong to the fashion, hospitality or sports sector. Marka operates fashion stores under the brand names: Dinh Van, Carven, Essentiel Antwerp, and Weill brands; hospitality stores, like: Ca'puccino, Harper's Bazaar Café, Morelli's Gelato, Reem Al Bawadi, Taste of Italy by Heinz Beck, and Vicolo; and sports stores, like: Cheeky Monkeys, Icons, Modell's Sporting Goods, UEFA Champions League Experience, and Xtreme Laser Tag. Marka has six subsidiaries operating across UAE and the United Kingdom. The company aims to become the best retail operating company in the Middle East.In 2017, it sold its sixty percent sharesof its Dubai-based children's indoor play area operator, called Cheeky Monkeys.
