Al Safat Real Estate Company (also known as EFFECT) is a public company, based in Kuwait City (Kuwait) and was established in December 2003. EFFECT is listed on the Boursa Kuwait since April 2008. It is a Sharia-compliant real estate property investment, development, and management company specializing in buying, selling, and developing real estate. The company is primarily engaged in contracting, managing, and maintaining real estate and touristic projects, along with money and precious metal transport. The firm operates under two business segments:the realestate segment, which is responsible for owning, selling, buying, developing and managing real estate; and the investment management segment, which involves in investing its surplus funds in portfolios, in compliance with the Islamic Sharia. It is also responsible for incorporating or acquiring subsidiaries and associates, and maintaininga steady capital requirement for the company. It has 2 subsidiaries operating across the country. Furthermore, the firm also offers real estate business consulting services, and organizes real estate exhibitions and auctions.
