Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Co. SAOG, operating under the brand name Al Shams, is the first and only tile manufacturer in the Sultanate of Oman. Established in 1998, the company is based in Nizwa and has grown significantly over the years.

Al Shams offers a wide variety of glazed wall and floor tiles, including designs and shades to suit every décor. They also produce floor and wall border tiles, listellos, decors, skirtings, pencils, and molded borders. The company adheres to strict quality control measures and has an ISO 9001:2000 certification. Their products are manufactured to international standards. Al Shams has expanded from a single production line with a capacity of 6000 square meters per day to five production lines with a total installed capacity of 55,000 square meters per day.

The company has a strong presence in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and exports to over 20 countries in the Middle East and Africa. Al Shams has received prestigious awards, including the His Majesty's Cup Award and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Shield for highest value addition.
